Why we like him:

Markus is the original and first male supermodel giving the female models such as Cindy Crawford a run for their money. Markus was born in Stockholm Sweden and later moved to the US where he was "discovered" roller blading along Venice Beach.

After being convinced by a photographer to let him take some shots he was quickly catapulted to international male model stardom. Markus reckons that his best asset is his bare butt, and growing up had an ambition to be a fighter pilot.

His real taste of international fame came when he was photographed by Bruce Weber naked for a Calvin Klein advertisement. He has continued to be a sought after model since the late eighties and he is still in demand the world over.
