Don't get too excited honey. The coalition still has control of the senate until at least Autumn next year (not quite sure of the date the changeover happens, but it's not immediate like with the lower house).
Also, they only promised to remove 57 of the 58; the Marriage Act is staying as it is.
We watched the election results as they came in. Looking forward to voting in a few years.
