Huge Project Launched
I have had a huge project launch yesterday and am now waiting for the bugs to be found (no matter how much you test there will always be some small unusual things found).
This has been a huge projeect both for me and for the company, not just in terms of the value of the project because we underbid so we would get the project. But more importantly it had allowed me to find a project to teach myself a specific new language and technology.
So the project did take longer than it would have if we had used our traditional technology, but now I have a huge new skill and a whole lot of new tools in my professional "warchest".
I still have a huge workload to get through in the next couple of months, but now that this is complete it will get better!
