Is this the start of a revolution
There is so much anger and protest since California voted to ban Gay Marriage in approving Proposition 8.
Huge consistent protests have been held all though the USA protesting against the taking away of equality.
Is this the start of a revolution that will grow and grow?
Or will we all just get bored and find something else to do with our time?
Only time will tell.
But I am very much enjoying the actual demonstrations and simple civil disobedience.

I am a thirty something married gay boy living in Sydney, almost on top of the gay scene but not in it!
Why Sometimes blue?, because I love blue, but also I am sometimes blue :)

I think this could turn out a little like a second Stonewall (being the riot, rather than the mediocre club on Oxford St). I believe that these protests across America are showing that queer and straight people alike are saying that they've had enough. Queer people are people too. I don't see this issue dying with the times, though it might die back a little.
I have to admit I was surprised that California passed Prop 8.
Talking of, I'm listening to FBi (94.5FM, Sydney) atm, and they're talking with (Former USyd SRC Pres and Young Labor Pres.) Nick Wood atm. He's one of the reasons the battle is hard... he's gay, but he doesn't want to get married, but he thinks the right should exist, but he doesn't, but he does....
The option should exist. Yes.
The issue is huge, but I am not sure that it wil be a 'Stonewall' moment
There is just so much apathy in the gay community as a whole.
But let me be proved wrong (please :)
I know so may gay guys who have the same beliefs as that guy, and I agree about marriage, but I want full legal equality and recognition , I understand marriage = religion, but I understand that even with civil unions there is still not the same equality as marriage.
baaaaah
I am annoyed LOL!
