A thought of love

I have a favorite saying which I think really relates to alot of my writing. The quote is by Benjamin Disraeli, for those of you who have never heard of this wonderful and awe inspiring man have a look at some of the search results from google.com. Although I do not share all of his political interests or ideals (he was Tory) he was a man of the people who made good, and a novelist of much fame. Living in Queen Victoria's regin of power in the magnificent 19th century.

While cleaning I came accross a scrap of paper on which I had written the quote:

"First love's magic is not knowing that it may end"

Simple, elegant and true. First love is a wonderful and exciting period in our lives and we never quite forget our first love, whether it be a boy at school, or someone we met later in life. First love is a truly magic and exciting period. So many writers use first love as the basis for their own stories and try to capture the joy, the terror and the excitement of all the feelings we have churning through our stomachs. Sometimes our first love can last a lifetime and we grow old with that person and share our lives, but sometimes first love can be a fleeting experience which we move on from and grow into adults. Growing to be very different people than we were at that time. And sometimes we love our first love so much we let them free to soar into the heavens, even if that means we are no longer together.

Remember that love is an incredibly special thing and when it happens we are blessed with a small view of eternity! Never let love go and always be true to your own self and others!
