With the demise of gay bars and clubs in Sydney due in part to many factors such as boys hooking up via the internet and personal columns and new owners looking to target a broader market I set about looking for a more new age approach to finding men who were interesting to me. I wanted to try firsthand a new experience that of meeting new men not necessarily gay, in a setting where there was on the surface at least a common interest. Hence I found myself this week at a Ki Yoga class, I was the ultimate virgin in the room having never before experienced this style of yoga which is linked primarily to the breath or life-force ( hence the word ki) My reason for seeking out this particular class was that it was near Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach, always worth a trip for the proverbial eye candy. With winter approaching the thought of some of the local lads moving indoors to a yoga room appealed to all my levels of fantasy. Leaving trepidation at the door and all modesty about my levels of flexibility I was relieved to find two very cute guys in my class, one wearing navy blue lyrca cycling shorts hugging a very muscular butt who shook hands and introduced himself as Nic. The other a hot Italian boy wearing loose fitting yoga pants, no underwear and the presence of something very promising underneath which was swaying from left to right as we did our loosening up exercises. I found myself really wanting to get the benefits of the class in the form of letting go of the stresses of daily life and focus on my breathing and ensuring to the best of my ability to do the yoga poses as best as I could. As well as catching a glimpse of the boy in the yoga pants and catch him as he pushed out his pelvis and arched his back and inhaled and then exhaled it was very powerful. I felt like I was watching the discovery channel. On one level I was awakening something within my body that was good for me health wise but intrinsically sexually arousing as well. I made it through the class, working at my own level with guidance from the teacher and the encouragement of my fellow pupils which made it worthwhile. At the end the class the Italian bot asked me if I felt reinvented, I said I felt more energised and he said that practice is the key and that I should try it at least three times a week. Without any further encouragement I signed up then and their for a 2 week pass.!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will keep you posted on how my yogic path and other new ways to meet men over the coming weeks.
